Today’s introductions will have you seeing stars!!
Create stellar designs with this all occasion stamp set. Perfect for birthdays, invitations, congratulations and more. With the variety of included sentiments, this set covers all of the superstars in your life.
_
This seven piece stacked star die set will be an essential addition to your die collection. This set features a classic star shape in a variety of sizes perfect for layering and creating an endless variety of stellar designs.
For today’s introductions I have two cards that were both simple and quick to create.
I find that the quickest and easiest cards are those that are created using my dies. What I love about this design style is that it allows for many different colors and patterned papers to be used together.
I started with cutting a white cardstock panel with the Letter Message Board die because I love the simple cut line pattern it creates making it perfect for backgrounds. I added a frame using the scalloped edge die from Card Front Element Builder. I then cut Stacked Stars from teal, green and yellow cardstock along with a teal sheet of Spots & Stripes Brights patterned paper pad. The Thanks word die was cut multiple times from teal cardstock and glued together to create dimension. Finally I stamped my sentiment from Grateful Greetings (introducing later this week) and added Nuvo Drops in white for added interest.
Creating a background with distress inks is another way to create quick and easy card designs.
Emboss resist is such a fun and versatile technique, it’s one of those that has been around for a while, but with all of the new inks and embossing powders being introduced, it continues to evolve and remains one of my favorite techniques.
I stamped the striped star and sentiment from Seeing Stars onto a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock and heat embossed it in white. Next, I created the background by sponging Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserve, Ripe Persimmon, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed Distress inks over the embossed stars and sentiment. SugarPuff foam was added underneath the panel for dimension. I left this fairly simple, but embellishing with sequins or Nuvo Drops would also be fun options.
Our team has some amazing and creative inspiration for you using the products featured here today. You can visit each of our designers’ blogs below for details on their projects. And while you’re there be sure to leave a sweet comment for them, giving you an extra entry to win today’s giveaway prize.
Thank you so much for joining us for Day 1 of sneak peeks! REMEMBER!! The entire Fall Product Release will be available for purchase on Friday, August 24th, 6PM EST.
Don’t forget to leave a comment here on this blog for your chance to win. We’d love to hear what you think about all of the products that we are showcased today.
