With today’s introductions you’ll be ready to PARTY!!
Get ready to party with Birthday Balloons. The balloons in this set features three dimensional patterns that will look fabulous stamped onto the solid or outlined balloon shape. Sprinkle on some glitter and confetti and you’re ready to celebrate in style.
_
Our SugarCut – Party Balloon is BOTH a stand-alone die and coordinating die set to our Birthday Balloons stamp set (sold separately). Use them together to create quick and professional looking packaging and accents.
I know that I’ve mentioned before just how much I love the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder and I’ll say it again…it never leaves my desk. It’s like my secret crafty weapon!! LOL And as you can see, I’m currently all about that gorgeous scalloped edge panel as I’ve used it once again for a card base. Next, I sponged the outside edges of a Bristol Smooth cardstock panel with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I then randomly stamped in a few stars from Celebrate All The Things.
After stamping only the balloon patterns from Birthday Balloons onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock, I then heat embossed the images in white and then cut them out with the coordinating SugarCut – Party Balloon die. This die was designed specifically to not leave a white edge/border around the balloon images so that you can achieve a more 3 dimensional and realistic look when used together with this stamp set. I sponged distress ink along the edges of the balloon images – leaving the centers lighter to create dimension. Each of the balloons were then mounted onto the background panel with 1-2 layers of foam tape for even MORE dimension.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted my greeting to have a bold or subtle look…so I went with both!! I die cut SugarCut – Celebrate word die in black cardstock and heat embossed a coordinating sentiment from Celebrate All The Things in white. I was really happy with the mixture of the bold and subtle look together.

August 23, 2018 at 8:34 amYou can never have enough balloons! I especially like this set since it has the pattern options. Great idea! One year, for my sister’s birthday I gave her contact lenses. Yep, she wore those thick bottle glasses. So, I purchased two big pre-made gift bows and used the clear dome acrylic tops as the “guess what this is” gift! It took her awhile to figure out that they represented an IOU for contact lenses. It’s a birthday gift that to this day, 30 years later, we both laugh about.

It was several years ago but she still talks about it. Thank you for the chance to win!

August 23, 2018 at 2:07 pmI love those balloons. This card is wonderful — gorgeous coloring, beautiful style. It’s hard to pick a favorite birthday gift (I’m 70 years old so there’s lots to choose from), but for some reason I remember getting a doll – her name was Poor Pitiful Pearl (terrible name). She had long hair I could comb, and I had been asking for her for months. I thought I was the luckiest little girl in the world!
