You’re a Good Egg Valentine

Hi Peeps, Tracey here today to share a collection of Valentines cards that you can make for your children to share with their schoolmates or to share with your family or even co-workers.

I used a few different stamp sets to make these cute little Valentines to show you that you already have lots of stamps and dies in your SugarPea collection that can be used for these cute and quirky mini cards.Today I am using Classroom Cupids, Barn To Be Wild and Best of Cluck. I wish there were cute stamp like these available when my kids were little, it would have made making handmade Valentines for a class of 30 so much easier. There are lots of great SugarPea sets to use for Valentines cards: Rice Rice Baby, My Hero, Pizza My Heart, Quackers, Hot Diggity Dog, Happy Mail, Let’s Fiesta, Have an Ice Day, Nuts About You, Prehistoric Pals, Spare me and Adorkable just to name a few.

All of my cards are 2 3/4″x 4 1/4″ postcard style (no-fold) on various patterned cardstock and the white panels were cut to 2 1/2″ x 4″. I stamped the images using Tuxedo Black Memento Copic friendly ink before colouring them. The sentiments were stamped onto the white panels with Black Onyx VersaFine ink before I built the scene onto the cards.

Tip: When mass producing Valentines it makes the job easier if you do one step at a time–cut all the paper, stamp images, colour images, die cut images and using the help of a tool like the MISTI stamp your sentiments.

I hope I inspired you to make some Valentines using some fun SugarPeas stamps and dies!

Happy Valentines Day!
