Autumn Blessings

Hi there! Kelly with you today and I am so excited to be here for the first time sharing a fun Autumn card! I am head-over-heels IN LOVE with the Lantern Die and it was the inspirational jumping point for my card today! I grew up camping and thought I could make a fun design using the perspective of being inside of a tent, peering out and spying this adorable little raccoon! He is just one of the many adorable images included in the Indian Summer stamp set. I know that it will be making more than one appearance for many of my Fall and Thanksgiving projects!

The little tent is created by scoring two pieces of cardstock and tying the fold back using some twine Peeking out of the tent is an ink blended background to mimic the look of the great outdoors.  The lantern has been cut four times from cardstock and then layered together for a nice and sturdy piece. The raccoon is colored using Copic and Prismacolor markers and then die cut using the coordinating Indian Summer Sugarcuts! A few little accessories like a scarf, pumpkin and leaves finish up this Autumn design. I hope you can find some whimsy and a new perspective in your cards this season!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post! See you next time! ~Kelly
