Bon Voyage

Stephanie with you today on the SugarPea Designs blog, to share some quick and easy fun using the Ooh La La stamp set, perfect for any vacation you might be starting to plan for next summer!

I have to confess: I had these images coloured and ready to go on a card for a while now. You might wonder why I didn’t use them until now? Well, crafters… I admit, I hoard beautiful images! I colour them, contemplate them, and leave them aside until no end. They’re just so cute as it is! But I made a big girl of myself and used them on today’s project, yay me! Oh and the fact that the Ooh La La stamp set happens to be on sale at the moment is also an incentive! Right on time, don’t you think, hehe!

I was super inspired by this month’s challenge on the blog and tried to stay as true as possible to the sketch by using the SugarCut – Large Striped CoverPlate on top of a patterned paper from the Spots & Stripes Brights Patterned Paper Collection that covers my entire A2 cardbase.

I added the Bon Voyage sentiment from the Chic Wishes set that complements the Ooh La La stamp set so well directly onto the coverplate diecut with some black ink, and added the characters with foam tape for a bit of dimension.
