Hi, SugarPea friends, it’s Amy here with today’s Design Team Feature. I love to mix and match SugarCuts dies and have combined the SugarCut – Birthday Journal Card balloon die and SugarCut – Celebrate die for today’s card.
I colored celebrate with a rainbow of Zig markers, blending them together slightly in rainbow order with an aquabrush. Once dry, I layered it on a SugarCuts – Stitched Flags layer that I stamped with a sentiment from the coordinating Celebrate All The Things stamp set.
To keep the rainbow colors popping, I opted for a trio of white balloons rather than adding in more color in the backgound. I used light gray thread to tether the balloon bouquet and layered it on an A2 card base.
