Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here today for your Thursday SugarPea Designs inspiration.
As you may know, September is a big STAMPtember time. Simon Says Stamp & SugarPea Designs collaborate and made this special set called Koalaty Time and I was super excited when I saw this adorable set! It’s super duper cute & i sure do love koala.
So, for today, here’s my card:
For the background I used SugarCut Arrow Cover Plate. I started by coloring a piece of watercolor cardstock and then did the die cut. To make it easy to apply, I carefully remove the whole sheet from my die cut plate (if you’re careful, most of them would come out in tact) and add the adhesive on the back side and then just flip it and press it to the card base. Then gently remove the negative background.
Since the background color so soft, I want the main image to pop up a bit more. I colored the koalas with Copic marker and adhere it to an inked up circle base (cut with SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Circles). Then adhere the circle directly to card base.
