Hello my crafty friends, I’m so happy to share my first card as a guest designer for SugarPea Designs.
If I tell you the truth, the first time I saw this cute Fox from the Fall Fox stamp set, I thought about making a shaker card.
So let’s jump over to see how I made this card with the cute fox.
I started by stamping all the images I wanted from the Fall Fox set (Fox, Leave bundle, Pumpkin) with black ink and color them with alcohol markers. For the inside of the shaker card I stamped the small pumpkin as well as the small leaves from the Fall Fox stamp set almost 10x times and colored them as well. You could use the coordinating dies for this stamp set or also fussy cut all the images.
Now that I had everything colored and cut, it was time to make the window for the shaker card. For that I cut a circle into a piece of white cardstock and glued some acetate just on the back to cover the open circle. After that I ink blended another card panel using some orange ink and sprayed some Clear Shimmer spray to give it some dimension and shine. Now I added two layers of foam tape on the back of the circle panel, so that the little leaves and pumpkins got enough space to move inside. I took all the small leaves and pumpkins and put them just in the middle of the ink blended panel and adhered the window panel just on top.
Now you can shake the card as much as you want (it’s so much fun). Then I glued the leaves bundle and the fox just on the bottom of the window circle so that it looks like the fox is throwing the leaves and the pumpkins in the air. To finish the card I stamped one of the sentiments from the Fall Fox set with black ink and heat embossed it using some clear gloss embossing powder to give it some shiny look.
I hope you guys like it and can’t wait to be back next week with another project. Thanks so much for stopping by and wish you all a wonderful day and stay safe and healthy.
