Hi Sweet Friends! Welcome to our 2015 Fall Product Release!
We hope you’ll join us here over the next 5 days as the SugarPea Designers and I share Sweet Peeks for the 11 NEW products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, Sept 11th at 6PM EST. As always, we promise that each day will be full of inspiration, fun and prizes!
Introducing…Adorkable & Noted
Today we are giving away the Adorkable stamp set. Enter to WIN by leaving a comment here on our store blog and on blogs of our design team. All winners during our Fall Product Release will be randomly chosen and announced on Sunday, Sept 13th.
Your creations will be bubbling over with FUN with this adorkable lab partner by your side. Adorkable, is the newest addition to our Sugar Snap Collection, Illustrated by Jennifer Nilsson. This 4×4 stamp set features a darling Mad Scientist, 6 science themed accessory images and 6 unique and versatile sentiments.
Noted is a fun and versatile 4×6 stamp set from our Sweet Chic Collection illustrated by Simonne Clay. Designed to be used to alone or together with our previously release, Sugar Cuts – Notebook Journal Card die. Create your own notebook paper by stamping the horizontal lines in one in color and the vertical double lines in another. Use the sentiments and smaller images included in the set in your card making, to create stylish and chic lists, or to customize your planner.
My card today features both of these new products as well as a few other previously released stamps and dies. I love how well all of our SPD Collections play together.
I started with a lavender card stock base and layered it white cardstock cut with the largest SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle die. After creating the pencil and cutting the spiral paper with the Notebook Journal Card, I stamped the notebook lines from the Noted stamp set. The horizontal lines were stamped with Baja Breeze and the horizontal double lines using Calypso Coral ink. I then added the paper airplane and stamped the dotted heart trail from Special Delivery with Memento – London Fog ink directly onto the notebook paper. The paper airplane was cut using the coordinating SugarCuts – Special Delivery Accents die and popped up with foam tape. I colored the Mad Scientist with Copics and popped him up with foam tape for depth and dimension. I added Glossy Accents to his glasses and Stardust Stickles to his beaker. Sentiments were used from Adorkable as well as the Take Note stamp set and stamped using Versafine – Onyx Black.
