Guest Designer ~ Ashley Ebben

Hello everyone! It’s Ashley back today with my second post as a guest designer for SugarPea Designs! For today’s card, I took the holiday set Gnome for Christmas and used it to make a card that’s perfect for any time of year!

I started by blending some light green and light blue inks onto white cardstock for my background. I splattered this piece with watered down gold acrylic paint and heat set to dry. I stamped the gnomes from Gnome for Christmas with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. I cut them out and added them to the card front.

I used the flowers in the Floral Pocket Tag die set to cut several flowers in different colors of pastel cardstock. I blended a little dye ink onto the die cuts for some interest and depth before adding them to my card. I popped a few of the front flowers up with foam tape for dimension.

I stamped three sentiment from Everyday Sentiments in VersaMark ink on white cardstock and embossed with gold. I cut them into strips and added them to the card with foam tape. I finished with a small scattering of iridescent jewels.

I love how these Christmas stamps transferred so easily to a garden scene! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
