Hello there! Audrey here! I am thrilled to be back today as Guest Designer for the month of October! How is it October already?! My card today features the To Infinity and Beyond stamp set! I love space themed things, and as soon as I saw this set, I knew it had to come and live with me!
To create my card, I started off with a piece of dark blue cardstock, but to 4” x 5.25”. I used the Wave Stencil and some Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to build the atmosphere! I ink blended about half of the way down the panel. Then, I splattered on some gold metallic watercolor. I used the Star Dust Sugar Cuts die to diecut a star trail from the panel, and I back it with white cardstock so that the stars would really pop. Then, I stamped a trio of adorable planets from the To Infinity and Beyond stamp set, colored with with Copic Markers, and fussy cut them with my scissors. They were popped up on the panel with foam tape for some added dimension.
At the bottom of the panel, I added a piece of patterned paper from the Spots and Stripes Brights paper pad. Just above it, I added a tiny strip of gold glitter paper from my stash, and used the Hocus Pocus Sugar Cuts to diecut a scattering of tiny stars from the same gold glitter paper. I adhered them with a glue pen, and heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set on the bottom left side of the panel, just about the patterned paper. To finish things off, I added some white gel pen accents, and mounted the panel on a dark blue card base.
That’s all for me today! I will be back next Monday with another project to share with you! I hope you have a great week! Thanks so much for stopping by!
