Guest Designer ~ Audrey Tokach

Hello there!  Audrey here!  I am back today with another card to share as Guest Designer for the month of October!  My card features the Bewitched stamp set!  It’s so hard to believe it’s almost time for Halloween!

To create my card, I started off with a piece of watercolor paper, trimmed to 4” x 5.25”.  I used my Distress inks to watercolor a night sky for my background.  I used Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet.  I wet the paper with clean clear water, and then dropped the color on randomly.  I dried that layer, and then added more ink in another layer, this time, wet on dry paper.  I repeated this step until I was happy with the result.  I stamped and colored the adorable flying witch from the Bewitched stamp set, and fussy cut her and her kitty friend with my scissors.  They were popped up with foam tape in the middle of the watercolored area.

I stamped a sentiment from the Darling Dragons stamp set on to a strip of white cardstock in black ink, and popped that up with foam tape underneath the witch.  A scattering of white stars was added using dies from the Hocus Pocus die set.

Before adding the panel to a white A2 card base, I added a strip of purple and white patterned paper from the Spots and Stripes Brights paper pad.  I added some white gel pen accents to finish off my card.

That’s all for me today!  I will be back next Monday with my last project as guest designer! I hope you have a great week!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Audrey! Your splash of color is perfect for this all-treats-no-tricks design! Maybe I’m crazy, but wouldn’t this little witch be just as cute as a pilgrim? Don’t put her away, Thanksgiving’s coming soon!
