Hello, all!
Are you ready for another awesome project by our September guest? We love her so much!
And I’m back, again… For my third post for SugarPea Designs.
(For those who had missed my last two posts, my name is Ellenor, SugarPea Designs guest designer for September)
Have you been able to get some crafting time with their fantastic fall collection?
I know I have, unfortunately It’s too few hours in a day J
For today’s two cards I have used the gorgeous stamp Mandala, the colorful papers Spots & Stripes, the versatile stamp set Sweet Sentiments – You and the SugarCut – You die.
I made identical cards but in different colors.
* Size of the cards 15×15 cm.
* I started with one black and one white card base.
* The layers on each card are cut a tiny bit smaller than the base.
* On the black card I stamped the Mandala and sentiment with VersaMark Watermark and embossed with white embossing powder.
* On the white card I stamped the Mandala and the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black.
* I diecut the SugarCut – You four times in white cardstock (for each card) and one each using different colors from the Spots & Stripes Bright Patterned Paper Collectioin.
* I glued them together so that the “You” pops out from the card.
This Mandala stamps is so versatile, CaS is just one way to go, another option can be to stamp and color them. Next time I will do that… Or you can emboss and maybe use Distress inks to blend on it. Maybe I should do that… Hmm, like I said, there are too few hours in a day J
So, until next time, take really good care of you.
