Guest Designer – Mindy Pawlicki Eggen

Welcome everyone! It has been so amazing guest designing for SugarPea Designs these last few months! They have such amazing products to work with. Thank you so much for inviting me!

For my card today, I’m using the new Dare To Dream stamp set. I started out by stamping my image onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with Versamark Ink. Then I heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

Next, I ink blended Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. I started in the center and worked my way out blending. Then I spritzed with water and dabbed with a paper towel. I also wiped the embossed image off with a dry cloth to make the silver pop again. I attached my ink blended panel to an A2 size notecard.

I used the Dreams SugarCut and diecut from white cardstock three times and from Silver Glitter cardstock once. I layered up my sentiment to add some dimension to my card. I also stamped the beginning part of the sentiment from the Dare to Dream stamp set onto black cardstock and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I cut it down to a thin strip and added to my card.
