Hello everyone! How are you? I’m so glad to be back again with another project.

I love the Cottontail Cuties set so much, and didn’t really give it much of an airing last time, so wanted to make it front and centre this post. I had the idea of the animals flying high because the rabbit is holding a clover leaf on a stalk that reminded me a little of a balloon string.
So I began by creating the background. I made my own cloud edge with a scrap of cardboard but wished I’d got hold of the SugarPeas Design Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil as stencils give a much better, cleaner edge than cardboard.

I used different colours of Distress Ink. Then I inked and coloured in the fox and rabbit with alcohol markers finishing off details with Prismacolors and gel pens. Then I added some different colour inks to a piece of card and die-cut 3 Party Balloons from it. All that was left was to assemble the card and stamp out some clover leaves and butterflies from the set.

The characters are so full of personality and such a joy to colour. I wanted it to look like the clover leaves were floating too. It’s an easy card to create and shows just how versatile this fabulous set is.

I added the butterflies to look like one was a living bow in the bunnies hair and then finished off with the sentiment from Everyday Sentiments. Next time I’ll be looking a different ways of using your supplies!
Until next time,
