Welcome back everyone! I’m so excited to be back guest designing with SugarPea Designs! They have some of the cutest images! Today’s card is focusing on these adorable little bunnies from the 24 Carrot Friend stamp set.
How sweet are these little guys?! To create my card I’m going to start off by creating my critters. I stamp them onto white cardstock with a copic friendly ink then color with copic markers. I decided to try a different combo of browns. I’m really happy how they turned out. They look so soft! Once I finished coloring them, I use the coordinating die to cut them out.
For my card, I’m going to diecut the Eyelet Cover Plate from white cardstock. Then, I’ll trim this piece down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ to adhere on top of an A2 size Sunflower notecard with liquid adhesive.
Next, I will diecut the Postage backdrop from white cardstock. This is adhered down to my card panel with foam tape for dimension.
To create the scene, I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock to fit right inside of the stitched lines. I then ink blended Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks with a clarity brush for a softer look. Then I can attach this to my card front.
I finished it off by adding the sentiment on a strip of Sunflower cardstock and adding my adorable bunnies! I love how bright and cheerful this birthday card turned out.
Hope you enjoyed today’s card and be sure to head over to SugarPea Designs to pick up these amazing products that I used in my card.
