It’s Raluca here and I’m excited to be back with a new card showcasing the first floral stamp set from SugarPea Designs ” Pretty Peonies“, the awesome new die set SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder and the beautiful Sugar & Spice Patterned Paper Collection.

The images in this set are absolutely gorgeous and you can create some amazing cards with them. For today’s post I created a clean and simple card, that is easy to make and doesn’t involve too much coloring.

I think that this set is perfect whether you love coloring or not, and I love it. The flowers have a lot of details that look beautiful without the coloring and that makes this set perfect for the crafters that don’t enjoy coloring!

The first step to creating this card was to die cut two panels, one from white cardstock and the second one from patterned paper using the scalloped rectangle die. I glued the pattern paper on a white card base and I die cut the white panel using the corner die from the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder and then I mounted it on the card.

Next I stamped the flower on white cardstock in Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers. After the coloring was done, I placed my image back in the Misti and stamped again in VersaMark and white embossed it for a finished look. Next I fussy cut the image using a sharp pair of scissors and moved to the sentiment.

After I heat embossed the sentiment in white to a grey strip of cardstock, I mounted the beautiful flower and the sentiment on the panel.

To finish my project I glued a few clear sequins to the panel, then added Wink of Stella all over my image and my card was done.
