Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here. I hope 2018 starts off wonderfully for all of you. For this year, my commitment is to try out or learn more new stuff. Not just creative wise, but also in other areas. How about you? Do you have any commitment or goal for this year? I am not sure why, but I prefer to use the term commitment than goal. 🙂
Anyway, for today I want to share this fun & girly shaker card.
For this card, I used Harlequin Cover Plate for the background. The first layer I used watercolor cardstock that I colored with aqua and green watercolor. Once it dry, I die cut the background and then adhere it to a piece of acetate. Then I die cut the background four more times.
I did this to create depth so I have enough room for the beads to move around. Once I finished with the shaker part, I work on the flamingo using Let’s Flamingle stamp set along with its matching dies. Finish by stamping the sentiment.
Voila… sweet & fun, right? Well peeps, that’s all for me today. I hope you enjoy today’s post. May your day be a happy one. Cheers…

I love that the depth creates the space for the beads without the (for me) foam tape mess.
😊
I love flamingoes. They just make me happy!
