Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here today.
As someone who came from a tropical country, I don’t handle cold weather well. Don’t get me wrong, I love cold days as long as I can stay at home. Hah! If I have to do activity outside, that’s a different story. Well, even though Houston has mild winter compare to many parts of the country, I can’t help thinking of being somewhere tropical. Thus, my tropical card for today!
To start with, I die cut the background using the Eyelet Cover Plate. Then, I colored the card base with various distress oxide ink pads. Once done, I layered the eyelet background to the front.
Next, I stamped the coconut tree & flamingo from the Let’s Flamingle set and die cut it with its coordinating dies.
As usual, I like to add details to my stamped image by adding some shading with Copic markers. Once I was happy with the way the images looked, I simply adhered them to the card base and added a sentiment.
That’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed today’s sweet inspiration and thank you so much for swinging by. May the rest of your week be a wonderful one. Sweet cheers to you all!
