I Come Bearing Gifts {Hey Winter}!
Hi crafters, Adelle here. Today I’m featuring the wonderful Hey Winter stamp set. I wanted to do a single-layered card (do sequins knock it out of the running for single-layer?) and bring in the cold weather and upcoming holidays.
To begin, I cut masks for the bear, hat, and another one of the bear’s arms, so I could put that candy cane in his paws. Wanting to use Copics, I stamped using a hybrid black ink. Once I had the bear assembled, I used the full bear mask and stamped smaller stamps from the set in the background.
I colored using Copic markers (W9, W5, W3, W1, W0, R59, R37, R17, BG09. BG05, BG13) and stamped a sentiment on the card front. Next, I used the large stitched rectangle from the Card Front Element Builder SugarCut and ran it through my Gemini Jr.
I randomly stamped with the heart from the set and embellished with Nuvo Sequins in Tropical Oasis.
