Heart-Blog-Seperater

My baby girl is growing up!!  She just turned EIGHT!  How the heck did that happen?!?!  She’s very much still my baby but wants to be treated like a big girl, so I wanted to create a card for her that would be youthful and fun and nothing she would consider “babyish”.

SPD-Chatterbox-by-Wendy-Ramlakhan

I started by repeatedly stamping the Birthday sentiment from Chatterbox Sentiments onto a panel I created with the SugarCuts – Chatterbox Journal Card.  I then arranged the SugarCuts – Simple Number die set over the speech bubble to do a camouflage technique. I chose a bright orange cardstock to cut out the 8 and the Happy word from the Chatterbox Journal Card.

I flanked the top and bottom of the center panel with small scraps from our Whatever The Weather Pattern Paper Collection and then added a layer of SugarPuff underneath to create dimension.  A few stars in the Bright Copper Kettle Shaker Selection were added to finish things off with a little sparkle.

I do enjoy fb groups. I think anyway that makes it easier to join challenges works best for me. I can’t always get to my pic to blog so a phone or iPad photo posted to fb or Instagram can be so much easier.

Such cute sets. Loved all the card creations! I prefer blogs over FB groups. I belong to a number of FB groups, but usually don’t interact with them unless it’s to ask a question or get advice on something. That’s maybe been twice in however many years I’ve been on FB.

Another fabulous releaase! I’m on FB but I use it exclusively to comment and see who’s up to what; I don’t post. The reason: I prefer to be as ‘under the radar’ as possible because I don’t like receiving friend requests from out-of-the-blue. If you had a FB group I’d join, but I likely wouldn’t participate there. Your blog though…’nother story *grin* Thanks for all the smiles and inspiration this week!

I don’t usually care for sentiments but these are great.
they aren’t overly-fussy and they are large enough
that you don’t need to do a lot of extra stamping
to get a wonderful looking card.
    It’s been a great week.

I think it’s a terrific release! What impresses me is the versatility of the stamps and dies. When we look at the DT projects, we see that RC products fit many different styles. I think that’s great for RC, but it’s also great for us, the craters. Your products appeal to lots of styles, therefore appealing to lots of paper crafters. I have a few favorites from this release, but if didn’t have to watch my spending, I would love to have all of stamps, dies, and paper packs. Oh, and thanks for the “freebie” when we spend $60. How cool is that!
