No quarters needed to start this Jukebox. Get ready to turn up the fun and rock around the clock with Rock N Roll Jukebox, designed by Simonne Clay. You’ll have endless hours of fun in your craft room creating beautiful and timeless classics for those nostalgic loving people in your life.
Put on your blue suede shoes and take a walk down memory lane with Jukebox Jive. This 4×6 stamp set illustrated by Simonne Clay, perfectly captures the essence and everything we’re nostalgic for in a 1950’s diner. With the Rock ‘n Roll jukebox, tile wall, records and malted milkshake images you’ll be creating timeless classics right in your craft room.
This stamp set can be used alone or together with the perfectly coordinating SugarCut – Jukebox Jive die set (sold separately).
There are times that I think I may love dies more that stamps and dies like the SugarCut Rock n’ Roll Jukebox is why. No detail has been overlooked with this incredible die.
I started by choosing a color palette of vintage 1950’s colors of teal, white and black. I then cut the SugarCut Rock n’ Roll Jukebox die in each cardstock color as well as some Silver Glitter Cardstock. I then set about gluing all of the pieces together – I admit that this step was a little time consuming, but I enjoyed every second of it! Using the Card Front Element Builder I created a stitched card front and then stamped the checker border from Jukebox Jive along the bottom to create a floor.
I tucked a few glossy cardstock records behind the jukebox using the SugarCut Greatest Hits die along with a few musical notes from the same die set and then stamped a sentiment from Jukebox Jive for my greeting. A matching envelope was created by stamping the Jukebox Jive checkerboard image multiple times to create my own patterned paper and then cutting it with the SugarCut Envelope Liner die and adding it to the inside of a Black Magic Envelope.
