Joy {Geo Snowflake Stencil}

Hi everyone! Vera here today to bring you a sweet inspiration on behalf of SugarPea Designs.

We’re about 3 months away from Christmas, so that means we all need to get going and get our Christmas card stash going right? With that in mind, I am excited to share this shiny card. 🙂

This card is my first attempt at foiling and dudeee….. they’re so shiny and I love it.

To start, I used SPD Geo Snowflake Stencil and spread the Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Let it dry and then I laid the foil on top of it and ran it through my laminating machine. I am so glad that it works like a charm, especially since it’s my first try.

Next, I stamped, die cut & colored the gnome from Gnome For Christmas set. Since the background is so shiny I wanted to tone it down a bit for the sentiment part. I laid a strip of gray cardstock matching the card base. Die cut the word joy using SugarCut Joy and adhere it to the strip. Next, I arranged the gnomes.

For final embellishment I added some white gem stickers and colored it with Copics to match the color of the foil. Just a little thing, but I think it completes the card.

I had so much fun making this card & I think I will have to do more foiling in the future. Well peeps that’s all from me today. Hope you enjoy the card and thank you so much for stopping by here.

Cheers….
