Just Chicken In

Hi, Lisa here with my Light Bulb Moment.

Today, I have a fun whimsical note using the Incentive stamp from the August Release.  Best of Cluck is FREE with $60.00 purchase or more (a full 2 months before it is released) all deets HERE

Step By Step Instructions

1. I used a piece of beautiful pattern paper from the new Countryside Charm Patterned Paper Collection and cut out the second largest rectangle using SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles (this helps to preserve the pattern paper by making a frame rather than using the whole piece and covering it up with the rectangle panel). Then I adhered this frame to my 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base (fold at top).

2.  I cut the same size rectangle using SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles from white cardstock.

3. I drew a line 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of my white cardstock panel and 5/8″ from each side.

4. I stamped the far left and right chickens first (using my MISTI), then I positioned the third and fourth chicken where I wanted allowing room for the “Hey, Chick” sentiment and stamped them.  Then I stamped the upside down chicken centered between the first and third chicken.

5. I then stamped my sentiments and colored in my chickens with Copics (R20, R22, R24, W1, 0, Y17). Then I just adhered the panel to the card base inside the patterned frame then added the tiny google eyes.
