Our Life Together is Off the Charts

Hello and welcome friends! It’s Kelly here today and I am thrilled to be back again with yet another fun Valentine’s Day idea! Love is DEFINITELY in the air!

I decided to use  Off the Charts stamp set as the jumping point for my design today! I just love how clever this set is, don’t you? I played off of the “chart” theme again, like I did when this set was released. I created a simple clipboard piece using Kraft paper and a jumbo clip. I stamped the grid image onto a piece of white card stock using black in.

I also used a piece of lined paper from the Sugar and Spice Pattern Paper pad, which has been so versatile for many different projects. This particular piece had a border of apples around it as well as an apple image, but I just trimmed it off and used the lined portion which is PERFECT for my chart theme! It also gave me the perfect straight line for the “Our life together” sentiment, which is stamped in black ink.

The penguins, another one of my favorites, are from the Eskimo Kisses stamp set and they are just the perfect pair to accent my love themed card! I stamped them in black ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I added a little bit of white detailing to their scarves for some added detail using a white gelly roll pen. After they were colored, I die cut them using the Eskimo Kisses Sugar Cuts.

The cute couple is adhered to the card using foam squares. The “off the chart” sentiment is heat embossed using white powder for crispness and definition. The “Love” and “Laughter” graph bars are stamped in pink and red ink and adhered to the card using more foam squares. I also added a few snowflakes fluttering around the penguins. They are also from the Eskimo Kisses stamp set and are the perfect detail for all of you winter themed projects! I hope you find some time to pull out some of your stamps and make some cards for your loved ones!
