Pearls of Wisdom

Hello!  It’s Kara with you here today for my first design team feature!  I have a card and video sharing some no-line coloring and stencil ink blending:

This little mermaid from Mermaid Kisses was stamped out with Antique Linen Distress Ink and then colored with Copic markers.  The oyster was stamped out with Milled Lavender Distress Ink and also colored with Copics.  They were both cut out with the coordinating SugarCut Mermaid Kisses.  I love the sentiment of encouragement that is also found in the Mermaid Kisses stamp set!

The background was ink blended using the Spirograph Mandala stencil and a combination of Distress Inks: Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, and Mermaid Lagoon.  The panel was then spritzed with water and die cut with the scalloped edge rectangle from Card Front Element Builder.

The video describes the steps, markers, and techniques that I used:

Thanks for visiting us and have a wonderful day!
