Hi everyone! Jennifer Timko here with today’s post. Today I’m focusing on one of my favorite sets from the last release by SugarPea Designs, Floral Envie.
I stamped this gorgeous image using Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder on Bristol Smooth paper. Using Zig markers, I colored in pretty summer colors. Something about using white for the image always makes the image look softer to me. I made sure to use a bit more color near the lines to help the details show up and added a bit of soft gray around the outside.
After cutting down the panel, I decided on a gray base for the image panel. I reached for another of the must-have set to finish the card, Everyday Sentiments. Honestly, this set has whatever you want to day on a card! I stamped on the same gray card stock in Versamark and used the white embossing again. SugarCut – Sentiment Strips cut it right down to size perfectly. Finally I added a few sequins from my stash and found the perfect Key Lime Pie Envelope to have it all ready for mailing.
Thanks for stopping in today! So happy to have you join us. See you soon.
