Sending Smiles

Hi all. How are you all doing? Vera here today.

Playing with flower stamps is definitely one of my favorite and for today’s card I can’t help but play with one of my favorite SugarPea Designs sets, the gorgeous Meadow Motifs.

To start, I made the background by creating a rainbow on a piece of watercolor cardstock. I just love the softness of watercolor.

While letting it dry, I worked on stamping the flowers & butterflies from the Meadow Motifs set. I die cut them with the matching Meadow Motifs dies. Once the watercolor background was dry, I arranged all the pieces on it, trimmed the excess pieces and adhered the panel to the card base.
I left the flower pieces the way they are on purpose. No color was needed as I feel that will make the card too busy. I always prefer a clean style. I only colored the butterflies. I added a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments set & finished by adding some dew drops & stickles to the butterflies.

I love the way this card turned out as I always love working with a rainbow of color. I hope you enjoyed my clean & simple card as well.
That’s all from me today creative peeps & thank you so much for stopping by here.
