Sending Thanksgiving Wishes

Hi everyone and happy Thanksgiving! Vera here today bringing you Thanksgiving wishes on behalf of the SugarPea team.

On this day of thanks, I for one am so grateful to be part of such amazing company.  They have great products that I truly love & they totally fulfill my needs for cute critters. Hah! Seriously, they have such cute critter sets. Don’t believe me? Just look at this cute raccoon and moose!

To start, I used the leaves from Lovely Leaves along with its matching dies. I stamped the leaves on the cardstock panel with various colors and then stamped the raccoon from Indian Summer and the moose from Easily A’moose’d set.

I colored the critters with Copic and then add some colors around the edges of the panel. Once I am happy with that, I stamped a few more leaves and die-cut them and adhere to the panel with foam adhesive. Stamp the sentiment and add some sequins.

I took a coloring class from Kathy Racoosin earlier this year and really love her technique of making the eyes on the critters larger. There’s just something adorable about it and so I do it often when I do critter cards, just like on today’s card. See the difference on the eyes between the pic above and below?
