Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here today to bring you sweet inspiration from SugarPea Designs..
One of the many reason I love SugarPea is their selection of cute critters sets. Somehow they always get me. And, I don’t know about you, but the idea of cute critters popping up from behind a flower bush or from a pot just scream fun & adorable for me. 🙂
That’s why, for my card, I used the sweet Sprout Bloom Grow set.
Granted in real life, my pup, Abby doesn’t fit in any flower pot we have, but she loves sticking her head between the flowers or the bush just to check if there’s anything interesting in there. That’s how I got the idea for this card.
I simply stamped a bunch of the pots, flowers and the critters. I colored them with Copic and die cut them with the matching Sprout Bloom Grow SugarCut die. Then, I simply played around & arranged them on the card base.
To finish the card, I used a left over stenciled strip that I have in my scrap stash and add it to the bottom of the card. In person, the strip really shimmers prettily. I know it’s just a small strip, but see, good thing I saved it, I got to use it after all. Hah! How about you? Do you tend to save small scraps or you let them go? I am in between. If it’s pretty, I keep it, if not, I let it go.

July 18, 2019 at 9:05 amOur dog, Murphy, wouldn’t fit in a pot either but our cats would & do so this look is quite familiar to our garden some days.Your colouring of this design is awesome please keep sharing more of your work x
