Hello, Nicole here. Today, I have a clean and simple card with a fun color combo and a matching envelope for you.
Lets start with the card. This layout is super simple to recreate. All you need is a large sentiment stamp (you could also use a large word die), a smaller sentiment to go along and some small, solid stamps. I also think that the fun color combo makes this quite simple card more fun. I picked a bold pink, a sunny yellow and a happy teal color. As you can see, the teal matches the envelope and the yellow matches the patterned papers.
I stamped the word love first, added the “sending you” and stamped the hearts last. This way I was sure my large sentiment was in the perfect spot between the smaller stamps. I could have left the card as it was but I wanted to add a little something. Again, this is super easy. You need a fun patterned paper and a stitched border die. I did some die cutting on my panel and cut the patterned paper to size. Then, I glued the striped paper behind my white panel and checked the size of my card. You could add clear sparkly sequins now but I liked the clean look and kept it as it was.
SugarPea Designs has a super cool die to decorate the inside of your envelopes. It’s such a quick and wonderful way to spice up your happy mail. I die cut my decor from some sunny patterned paper and glued it to the inside of my envelope. I added a pink die cut word on top and my colorful project was done.
I hope you were inspired. This is a quick and easy way to make a bunch of Valentine cards but you could also do this for example with a happy birthday sentiment and some star or stamps.
Thank you so much for joining me!
Have a wonderful day,
Nicole
