Hi everyone! Jennifer here with today’s card. I have said before how much I love stencils and today I’m using one of my favorites with embossing paste.
I started with a light gray paper and added a white paste on the Leaf Canopy Stencil for a tone on tone look but one with lovely texture. I thought that vellum would be a nice complement to the embossing so I cut a hexagon with the SugarCut – Stacked Honeycombs.
I chose the sentiment from the SugarCut – Floral Envie set. After adding it on top of the vellum, I put on a few sequins and some silver thread. It is amazing how all the detail of the gorgeous stencil makes the rest of the card need but a few details. I hope you will be inspired to pull out your stencils soon!
