Now that the holidays are over we are back with our bi-monthly SugarSketch Challenges!!
This sketch features a horizontal panel with an accented design along the bottom and embellished at the top with a half circle. Feel free to make it your own by rotating or by changing the shapes of the panels. And remember, that each project you link up and share below is an entry to WIN a Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs store worth up to $15!
The rules are very simple…
Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided.
- SugarPea Design stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated
- You may rotate/flip the sketch & replace shapes – so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable
- Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword: SPDSS18 so that we may check out your beautiful work
- Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz shown below.
- One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe. However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $15
Here’s my take on the sketch featuring Let’s Fiesta!
This cool hombre is SO much fun to color, although I did experience a marker malfunction while coloring his mustache so I’m not too happy with how that part came out. I added a chevron design along the bottom on the horizontal panel with our January Sweet Incentive stamp set, Build A Background – Basics, which you can receive for FREE with an purchase of $60 or more. I created pierced circles with the SugarCuts – Layered Treat Labels die set and then stamped them with a sentiment and a hot pepper image.
