Twice a month we bring you a new sketch along with loads of samples from our SugarPea Designers to inspire you in your card making and get your creative juices flowing.  But don’t forget you can always “make it your own” by either rotating the sketch design or changing the shapes of the panels.  And remember, that each project you link up and share below is an entry to WIN a Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Boutique worth up to $15!

The rules are very simple…

Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided.

  • SugarPea Design stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated :)
  • You may rotate/flip the sketch & replace shapes – so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable
  • Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword: SPDSS11 so that we may check out your beautiful work
  • Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz shown below.
  • One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe.  However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $15

SugarPea Designs Undying Love by Wendy Ramlakhan

To say that I’m a huge Walking Dead fan, would just be a gross understatement.  I don’t watch much TV, but I refuse to miss even a single second of heart pounding zombie action.  I find that there’s just something so fun in being so scared…from a safe distance of course.  😉  Lucky for me, my husband shares in my love for zombies and I created this card to celebrate our Undying Love (aka – Our 9th Wedding Anniversary).  Because there really isn’t anyone I’d rather CHEWS, to be with ’till death do we part  (or even after) than him!!  I used Echo Park’s, Chillingsworth Manor designer paper, added a little bit of sloppy stitching and sponged Tim Hotlz, Black Soot distress ink along the edges.  And to make things even more fun…I put my sweet zombie chick on a wobbler, which gives her the perfect zombie motion/shake with just the slightest motion.  SO FUN!!

Truly, my zombie love knows no bounds – A few months back, my 7 year old son said that there were too many mommies at his school that drive black SUV’s and that he could never tell which car was mine at pick time.  So to make it easier for him to find me, I added this adorable “zombie stick family” on the back of my car.   And even though he and his friends are too young to watch shows with zombies, he says that this little addition to my car has made me the “cool mommy”.  Hahahaha!

(Oh yeah, he wanted me to mentioned that he is represented below by the little zombie boy who’s missing a leg…which happens to be in the dogs mouth.  Yep, we’re weirdos!!)

Why not celebrate your Undying Love for someone special today!!
