Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here today to bring you a SugarPea Designs Thursday inspiration.
I think if I look back at my SPD stash of cards, I can honestly say that the Funky Wreath – All Season & Chunky Monkey are ones of my favorite of SPD stamp considering how often I used them.
Just look at my card for today. 🙂
To make this card, I first stamped the wreath directly on the card panel. Then I partially inked the monkey and using a scrap paper to protect the panel, I stamped the monkey. Don’t worry about being very precise as the flowers will cover the bottom area of the wreath where it meets the monkey.
Stamped the leaves and added some shadow detail with Copic. Then add the flowers, stamped the sentiment (from Caring Hearts set) and add some enamel dots with Tonic Nuvo enamel liquid.
Seriously, this Funky Wreath is so versatile because it can be mixed with so many different SPD sets. Literally, instead of the monkey, you can also use the various other critters that SPD offer. Want to change the mood, simply change the color of the flowers, which is from Funky Wreath Spring Addition set. Lots of fun possibilities.
