I have a simple and fun CAS creation to share with you that I created using only the accessory images found in our Eek-A-Boo stamp set.

SPD Eek-A-Boo Spiders by Wendy Ramlakhan

I started by stamping the corner spiderweb image in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and then stamped the spider 3 times using some traditional Halloween colors.  I created texture by added some coordinating sparkly rhinestones to their bodies.  Next, I created contrast by stamping one of the fun and versatile mixed & match sentiments in 2 different ink colors.  Some fun and sparkly washi tape finished things off nicely along the bottom.

Now here’s my TRICK...

I couldn’t stand the idea of my spiders coming down on black webs when they were so fun and colorful.  So to create the lines I pulled out the Noted stamp set and cut off one of the lines from the lined notebook stamp.  I was then able to create their webs by stamping it in the same ink colors as I had with the spiders.

The lined notebook stamp was created generously large enough so that I was able to do this without any worries.  So my tip/trick is to not be afraid to cut apart sentiments or other parts of an stamp to create something completely NEW, FUN and UNIQUELY your own!

A few of the DT (Kim, Jen, and Stacey) didn’t have their posts up yet, but the rest of the team did a fabulous job! I’ll check back later to see if the other three are there.
