For the last year, I’ve admired the beautiful alcohol ink and foil background trend but never took the time to give it a try for myself. All I can say is, “WOW! What the heck took me so long.” Not only is it beautiful, but it’s so much fun!! As soon as I had created this background I knew I wanted to use it with our new Cheers To You products. That gold foil created so much movement and looks just like champagne spewing from a bottle.
Psst! Take a peek at that envelope and that Geo Snowflake Stencil ink blended liner!! Gorgeous, right? More about all of that goodness to come later this week. 😉
I cut the Cheers To You champagne die and the shadow for the Cheers word die in a similar teal green cardstock color to coordinate with the ink background. I chose a gold foil cardstock (you’ll be able to purchase this from our store soon) for the bottle label and Cheers word.
The champagne glasses were cut from vellum with the bubbles from the Cheers To You stamp set stamped in gold ink. I love how the foil in the ink and the gold foil cardstock work so well together.
