Hello, Sweet Crafty Friends!
SugarPea Designs is proudly participating in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event by the wonderful Tracey McNeely where for 25 days she features Christmas tags. There are lots of guests and giveaways along the way! The SugarPea’s and I have some gorgeous tags to share with you today.
I LOVE creating tags! Love. It. There’s something about the simpleness of a little tag accent attached to a gift that makes it even more special.
I started out by die cutting a tag with the SugarCuts – Gift Tag die set and adding a paper doily and designer paper. The sentiment was stamped on the pierced banner from the same die set and heat embossed in white. The little baker girl is from our *NEW* Whisky Business stamp set and colored with Copic markers and then cut with the coordination SugarCuts – Whisky Business die. I paper pieced her apron with a bit of coordinating designer paper. Before I assembled everything, I ran all of the dies again through my machine using the Chipboard Stacks – it’s my favorite thing to do with my dies. I love how it really gives my accent pieces a nice sturdy backing and boutique look. I finished things off by adding some silky lime green ribbon.
