Heart-Blog-Seperater

I created a frightfully sweet Halloween card with all of the goodies being introduced today and more.

SPD Eek-A-Boo by Wendy Ramlakhan

I created my card base by cutting some fun Halloween patterned paper with the SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle die.  I then combined both the Scattered Stars and Heart Journal Card to create a layered and dimensional accent panel for my card.  I cut the Scattered Stars Journal Card and added foam tape to the back and then layered it onto a base of orange cardstock cut with the Heart Journal Card. The ghost was stamped onto heavy duty vellum and embossed in white and heated from underneath to avoid curling.  I added color to the ghost with Zig Brush Color markers and popped him up by placed foam tape behind his banner and bow.  I stamped my sentiment onto green cardstock which I then cut with the piercing circle and once again with the cutting circle from the Layered Treat Labels die.  I embellished the sentiment by added a two toned bat created with the Stitched Autumn Icons dies.

He is so CUTE and I am soooo gonna steal the idea to stamp a ghost onto vellum, that is just too clever – and it looks fab!! That journaling card with the stars looks like one of those reach-for-at-all-times-favourites that I just have to get. And think of all the cute little stars you get as a bonus, to use as confetti or in shaker cards and what-not! That’s definitely an extra perk to the per-k-fect! 😀

I am in love with this card!!!! Just so cute…love the background with all the Halloween sayings and the little ghost couldn’t be cuter!

Wouldn’t it be cute to put a little ghost inside on a pop-up so when you open the card he pops up (maybe in a graveyard or haunted house)….that way he could be used again in the card….

Thanks for a great idea and an adorable set!
