Hello there! Audrey here! I am so excited to be back, and sharing another project with you as SugarPea guest designer for September and October! My card today features the super adorable Darling Dragons stamp set and the Wave Stencil.
To create my card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4” x 5.25”. I used the Wave Stencil and some Wilted Violet Distress ink to add a fun pattern to the right 2/3 of the panel. After I went over the stencil with the purple ink, I removed the stencil and went over the area again, very lightly to defuse the pattern and soft the start white waves. Then, I used the Star Dust die to diecut a scattering of stars in the panel. Behind that, I added some black cardstock to help the stars stand out. I stamped and colored a few of the cute dragons and the cauldron from the Darling Dragons stamp set and fussy cut them with my scissors.
I adhered each dragon with foam tape, and stamped a sentiment to the bottom right of the panel, just under the stenciled area. Before mounting the panel to an A2 card base, I added a strip of patterned paper from the Spots & Stripes Brights patterned paper pad to the left edge of the card base. Finally, I added a scattering of iridescent bubbles to make that potion extra fabulous!
