I’ll Be Gnome for Christmas {And Challenge Winners}

Hi crafters! Adelle here featuring a fun Christmas card using SugarPea Designs, Gnome For Christmas stamp set.

I cut masks for the gnome and the sled, applied them, and then used Post-It tape to section off half of the card.  I used Distress Inks to blend the background using Chipped Sapphire, Stormy Sky, Seedless Preserves, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, and Hickory Smoke.  I splattered white paint using a POSCA white brush pen as well as a white gel pen.

I used Copics to color the gnome and the sleigh:  E79, E77, E74 (shoes). R89, R85, R83, R81 (hat). B99, B97, B95 (clothes). E0000, E000, E00 (skin). T3, T1, T5 (beard, sleigh), E47, E44, E42 (sleigh).

I also used prismacolor to sharpen the hair of the beard and moustache (PC1051, PC 1052, PC1054).

After completing the coloring, I stamped a sentiment and die cut it using the larger of the two dies in from the Postage Stamp SugarCut and adhered it to a white card base using foam tape.  I further embellished the sky with metallic silver stars.
