Tatiana is here with you! I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog!!! Today I came up with a clean and simple copic colored card to send everyone some summer vibes and good mood!
To start, I die cut the cutest penguin using Cool Treats SugarCut and Neenah Solar White paper. I stamped the open image from Cool Treats stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink using my stamping positioning tool and the negative part of the die to help me with the alignment. I colored the penguin with copic marker and added some accents using a white gel pen along with a generous coat of a clear shimmer pen.
In case you’re interested, here’s the complete list of all the colors used on this project: COPIC MARKERS T3-T5-T7-T9; C00-C2; Y11-Y13-Y15-Y17-Y18; R81-R83-R85; YG21-YG25-YG17-YG67; BG01-BG05.
An extended A2 size (5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″) white card base was trimmed and scored from the same Neenah Solar White paper. I prepared a die cut tag from Floral Pocket Tag SugarCut to go on top where I inked a few waves using the cloud edge from Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil, Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink and the blending brush. The sky portion on the tag was filled with Cracked Pistachio Distress ink. I also flicked a few water droplets to add some interest to the pattern. The matching sentiment from Cool Treats stamp set was heat embossed on a narrow strip of a black cardstock and glued to the right edge of the tag. At this point I started assembling all the elements together with a bit of dimension. A few accessories and some sequins gave a finish touch to this project.
