Hello from the Otter Side

Hello friends! It’s Kelly here and I have been so excited to get these little otters inky again! Aren’t they just the cutest? I knew that an alcohol Ink background would be the perfect way to showcase these cuties!

After I created my alcoholic ink background ,I set it aside to dry while I got to work on the rest of the design elements. I used the newly released Large Striped Coverplate to use over the top of the background. I stamped the sentiment from the Otterly Adorable stamp set in black and then added the Hello Sugar Cut which is the current “Sweet Incentive” right now. I die cut it out of silver glitter paper to bring out the metallic mixative that I used in the background.

I stamped and colored this cute little otter holding his tasty treat or friend? LOL! and then used the coordinating Otterly Adorable SugarCuts to die cut the image. It is popped up onto the card front for some added dimension. I gave the otter a coat of glaze so it would look like he has emerged from the water.  A few sequins to act as bubbles and a few crystal glaze drops finish off this aquatic design.
