Hi peeps!! Can you believe we are already in the 1st week of fall? Being in Texas, I sure am glad for the slightly less hot weather. Hah!! It’s still hot, but not too bad.
Anyway, I was debating on what set to use for today’s post and I went back to some older sets and decided to give the adorable Indian Summer set some love. 🙂
To start with, I created the background using distress oxide inks and once I was happy with the way it looked, I die cut it using the scallop border from CardFront Element Builder.
Then I worked on the images. I stamped the cuties from Indian Summer, colored and die cut with the matching Indian Summer dies.
After arranging the images on the panel, I felt like it was still missing something. So, I found the cute hedgehog and the camp fire from Easily A’Moose’d set. The whole scene just makes me smile. What can I say, I love cute critters!
I finished by stamping the sentiment and adhering some flat sequins.
Tadaaa….. a sweet & happy fall scene. 🙂 I hope this card makes you smile and hope you enjoy today’s inspiration. Thank you so much for all your support for SugarPea Designs and for stopping by here. And, don’t forget to enter our Mix It Up challenge. Deadline to enter coming up soon. That’s all from me and may your Thursday be a good one. Cheers….
