My baby girl is growing up!! She just turned EIGHT! How the heck did that happen?!?! She’s very much still my baby but wants to be treated like a big girl, so I wanted to create a card for her that would be youthful and fun and nothing she would consider “babyish”.
I started by repeatedly stamping the Birthday sentiment from Chatterbox Sentiments onto a panel I created with the SugarCuts – Chatterbox Journal Card. I then arranged the SugarCuts – Simple Number die set over the speech bubble to do a camouflage technique. I chose a bright orange cardstock to cut out the 8 and the Happy word from the Chatterbox Journal Card.
I flanked the top and bottom of the center panel with small scraps from our Whatever The Weather Pattern Paper Collection and then added a layer of SugarPuff underneath to create dimension. A few stars in the Bright Copper Kettle Shaker Selection were added to finish things off with a little sparkle.

April 15, 2016 at 8:07 amI do enjoy fb groups. I think anyway that makes it easier to join challenges works best for me. I can’t always get to my pic to blog so a phone or iPad photo posted to fb or Instagram can be so much easier.
Angie Walters
April 15, 2016 at 8:09 amSuch cute sets. Loved all the card creations! I prefer blogs over FB groups. I belong to a number of FB groups, but usually don’t interact with them unless it’s to ask a question or get advice on something. That’s maybe been twice in however many years I’ve been on FB.
Jeanette

April 15, 2016 at 9:09 amAnother fabulous releaase! I’m on FB but I use it exclusively to comment and see who’s up to what; I don’t post. The reason: I prefer to be as ‘under the radar’ as possible because I don’t like receiving friend requests from out-of-the-blue. If you had a FB group I’d join, but I likely wouldn’t participate there. Your blog though…’nother story *grin* Thanks for all the smiles and inspiration this week!

April 15, 2016 at 1:47 pmI don’t usually care for sentiments but these are great.
they aren’t overly-fussy and they are large enough
that you don’t need to do a lot of extra stamping
to get a wonderful looking card.
It’s been a great week.
thanks.

April 15, 2016 at 6:07 pmThe blog is the only way for me. I’m still a bit prehistoric and do not interact outside surfing the net. Really it’s more of a time thing for me, just checking my email sucks up too much time, just can’t bring myself to spend my time that way. Great release!

April 15, 2016 at 10:43 pmI usually do not use FB for much but I would join if you set up a page. Love this new die and set! Very cute card for your baby who is 8 (so is mine and yes they are still our babies)!
Jeanne Jordan
April 15, 2016 at 10:54 pmI think it’s a terrific release! What impresses me is the versatility of the stamps and dies. When we look at the DT projects, we see that RC products fit many different styles. I think that’s great for RC, but it’s also great for us, the craters. Your products appeal to lots of styles, therefore appealing to lots of paper crafters. I have a few favorites from this release, but if didn’t have to watch my spending, I would love to have all of stamps, dies, and paper packs. Oh, and thanks for the “freebie” when we spend $60. How cool is that!
Angie McKee
April 15, 2016 at 11:59 pmI would absolutely LOVE to join if you started a Facebook group! I prefer Facebook compared to the other social sites for sure. What a FABULOUS release! It’s been such a fun week! Happy Friday!!

April 16, 2016 at 11:17 amLoving this entire release!! I think a fan page is a great idea and I interact on them regularly with my favorite companies. They are a great place to find inspiration and make crafty friends and connections.

April 16, 2016 at 7:54 pmI LOVE this stamp set, the font is gorgeous and the die-cuts are stunning!! I’m an Instagram girl and love following companies thru this medium. I do use Facebook but find it frustrating when you comment on a Facebook page and then get all the comments in my email Inbox from everyone else who comments after me.
Karen B.
April 17, 2016 at 1:36 amI agree with Shona. I would love to join but if I comment then my email is full of others comments umless I turn off notifications. But the insporation would be great with SPD!

April 17, 2016 at 11:15 amDefinitely a face book page. Everyone is on face book already so it will be easy to just over to your page and check out what’s going on or contribute. Thanks for asking!
