Barn-To-Be-Wild-2

I know I say it all the time, but this may be my favorite release ever.  If I were stuck on a deserted island and could only have 1 stamp set to play with forever…this would be the one.  There are so many adorable images and puny sentiments I would never be bored with this set.

For my card I started out by creating a sweet farm scene background with the new SugarCuts – FarmScape die and then sponged ink on white cardstock to create a sunset.

The tiny circles that are the negative space in the windmill made for perfectly sized little apples for my tree!!  I colored all of the images with Copics and then cut them with the coordinating SugarCuts – Barn To Be Wild die set.

Barn-To-Be-Wild-3

And the coordinating, Best of Cluck stamp set is just as equally fun to play with.

Best-Of-Cluck1

Best-of-Cluck2

I LOVE the chicken wire paper from the Countryside Charm paper pad.  I cut it with the SugarCuts – Heart Journal Card die to create a panel for my image.  I then heat embossed my favorite sentiment in white onto one of the SugarCuts – Stitched Flags and then perched one of the hen images at the end. And the best part…Best of Cluck is FREE when you purchase $60 or more from August 26th – October 1st.*

OMG! I LOVE this sweet ‘Barn to be Wild’ set and all of its cute farm critters! I am a big animal lover, picking a favorite is HARD! Hmmm… I would have to pick baby goats, the way they jump and prance around? ADORABLE! But I also love piggies and cows and lambs and sheep, so much so that I won’t eat pork, beef or lamb, and so many other critters as well! I can’t wait to get my hands on this set! I need more students to tutor! LOL!!

My favorite fresh from the farm animal would be the horse and the food would be rhubarb (to make rhubarb strawberry pie). I grew up on a farm and love the new release.

An exponentially charming set that has sparked wonderful memories of the special times spent on my grandparents’ farm! Their patience in the ways my sister and I *helped* with chores…unbelievable! And my grandmother’s baking…decadent delights, galore! The best were her ‘cupcake’ tarts: tart shells, filled with cupcake batter, into which she put a dollop of homemade jam and, once baked, iced! Scrumptious! My favourite farm foods: carrots and tomatoes. Farm animal: calves! They are just sooooo darling! Thank you for the trip down memory lane….

My favorite fresh on the farm animal is baby chicks. We hatch them every year in school and the kids just love watching them move around after they hatch. They are adorable, just like your new stamp sets and dies.

Being from Wisconsin, these sets are very dear to my heart..I love them and they will be the first things I put in my cart! My favorite farm food is whatever my grandma was cooking on her wood stove in the cast iron skillet. What I would give to taste some of her home cooking again! Great job on this release Wendy, you are so talented!
