Introducing…Merry Makers
Today we are giving away the Merry Makers stamp set. Enter to WIN by leaving a comment here on our store blog and on blogs of our design team. All winners during our Holiday Product Release will be randomly chosen and announced on Sunday, November 8th.
Everyone knows that it’s really the elves that make Christmas magic happen. And this merry trio have their hands full – decking the halls, preparing sweets and adding festive finishing touches to all of Santa’s packages. Merry Makers is the newest addition to our Bean Stalk Collection, illustrated by Aaron Zenz. This 4×6 stamp set features 3 adorable elves and several light-hearted sentiments that will inspire you to create fun and festive holiday cards and projects.
Pair with the coordinating SugarCuts – Merry Makers die for quick, easy and professional Christmas packaging and accents!
My card today features both of these new products as well as the previously released Watercolor Brush Strokes stamp set. I love how well all of our SPD Collections play together.
I started by creating the background with a gentle progression of color using the Watercolor Brush Strokes stamp. The sentiment was stamped in a contrasting icy mint colored ink. The candy cane painting elf was colored with Copic markers and then cut out using the coordinating SugarCuts – Merry Makers die. I wanted to give the image a little more dimension so ran the die through my Cuttlebug twice more using our Chipboard Stacks. I really like the “umph” that is gives accent pieces. A few scattered enamel dots and a tiny bit of Stickles – Star Dust to the elf’s pom poms were added to finish things off.
CANDY CANE WISHES – CARD
- Stamps: Merry Makers (Available Nov 6th), Watercolor Brush Strokes
- SugarCut Dies: Merry Makers
- Ink: Memento – Tuxedo Black, Love Letter, Rose Bud, Angel Pink
- Other: Chipboard Stacks, Foam tape, Stickles – Star Dust

Thanks so much for joining us for our 1st day of sneak peeks!
