Light Bulb Moments with Lisa

Hi, its Lisa Lara here with my Light Bulb Moments post today.

This card works great for those graduations coming up.

So I started with a black cardstock base folded at the top. Then I cut a black rectangle using the largest die from SugarCuts-Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles.  The light bulb image from Adorkable and the “Shine Bright” sentiment from Sparkle & Shine just work perfect together.  Especially for a graduation card, I thought.  I put it on black paper to emphasize shining bright with the contrast of the dark.

I heat embossed the sentiment first then did the light bulb right over the dot for the “i” in “Bright”.  Then I stamped another light bulb but using black Copic compatible ink on white cardstock.  I colored it with Copics, cut it out, popped it up with dimensional tape then added Glossy Accents and let it dry.  A pretty simple, easy card with a definite focal point and message.  And is a less traditional graduation card!

Oh, Lisa, this is so adorable, and the light really does shine and stand out on the black card stock. And I love the Zig-Zag dies. Wonderful, as always, sweet friend! Hugs!
