Hi everyone! Jennifer Timko here with today’s card. It is official! I’m all in now on making holiday cards. And I love finding ways to use things in a way that might not have been originally intended. So I used the SugarCut – Piece of Cake die set for my card today.

I started the card by creating the base detail with the Falling Snow Stencil. First I embossed with the stencil running it through my Gemini Jr., then I sponged a little bit of white ink over the texture to add more detail. Next up, I used the triangle from the SugarCut – Piece of Cake set. Then I used one of the box dies to score another larger triangle which I just cut on the score line. Finally, I used the small flag die for the trunks. They were all cut from watercolor paper and I inked them with Distress Oxide Ink.

I chose the sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments set and cut it out using the SugarCut – Sentiment Strips. I decorated the trees with stars from the box set and cut them from glitter paper. Such a fun and easy way to create a holiday card! Thanks so much for stopping in today. Hope you enjoy this card.
