Peace On Earth

Hello and welcome!
Tatiana is here and I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog!!! Today I came up with a bright Christmas card highlighting wonderful Come Let Us Adore Him Stamp Set.
To start, I stamped on Copic X-Press paper all the characters I needed for this project with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the stamping positioning tool to assure the perfect black outlines. Then I fussy cut all the stamps with a pair of the sharp small scissors leaving a little white edge around and colored all the elements with copic markers. I decided to keep the colors limited and focus on two complimentary shades – blue and yellowy brown.
In case you’re wondering, I’m leaving you the complete list of all the colors used here: COPIC MARKERS B21-B24-B26-B28-B37; Y0000-Y11-Y21-YR24; E0000-E30-E31-E33-E35; E50-E51-E53-E55.

An extended A2 size (5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″) white card base was trimmed and scored from Neenah Solar White paper along with a faux stitched rectangle die cut from Card Front Element Builder 3 SugarCut. I inked the background with Antique Linen Distress ink from the bottom part, creating the “ground” portion with an ombré effect. The night sky was inked with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks from the top part of the die cut rectangle. I flicked a few tiny droplets of a pearlescent solution along with a couple of small golden splotches to give more interest to the scene. I let the ink air dry very well and then heat embossed on top in gold the star and the sentiment that come from the same Come Let Us Adore Him Stamp Set. Finally I could assemble all the elements together, popping the colored characters on a foam tape for a fun dimensional look.

That’s all for today! Hope this sweet Christmas card will inspire you! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!
Hugs,
Tatiana
